AAC represents your interests in Montgomery during the legislative session, monitoring issues important to our industry. Throughout the year AAC cultivates relationships with lawmakers on the state and federal level.

Each year, AAC hosts an event honoring Alabama's Elected Officials. This reception has welcomed the Governor, members of the Governor's Cabinet, the Lt. Governor, Treasurer, Ag Commissioner, Public Service Commissioners, Supreme Court Judges, Senators and Representatives as well as key staff members.

In 2025, Alabama Agribusiness Council, Sweet Grown Alabama and their partners are teaming up to host a Legislative Luncheon on February 11th at 11:30 at the Plaza Terrace. Also, immediately following the Luncheon, Alabama Agribusiness Council is pleased to host a special announcement of the results of “Ag and Forestry Grow Alabama, an Economic Contribution Study.” This event is also held at the Plaza Terrace and will begin at 12:30, as the Luncheon is concluding.

AAC Members have the exclusive opportunity to network with the Elected Officials as they enjoy this nice event!
