This event will offer networking time, followed by a catered lunch, and will conclude with featured speakers Dr. Mykel Taylor and Dr. Kelli Russell who will provide an overview of their recent report titled “Opportunities and Challenges for Economic Development in Alabama Agriculture and Statewide Strategic Economic Development Plan.” Input for this report was generated by 10+ focus groups representing all sectors of agriculture who shared their respective advantages and challenges in the industry. This presentation will provide an excellent overview of the current state of Alabama’s agricultural industry as well as insights to how we can advance the industry.
